About This Mod

Why do all Sims react exactly the same way to a forgotten birthday? Not every Sim wants a big party or feels the need to invite guests. No Forgotten Birthday Drama ends the uniform household crying by replacing the standard “Sad” buff with various emotional outcomes. It brings much-needed individuality to your game, acknowledging that a missed celebration affects a Loner differently than a Socially Awkward Sim or a Party Animal.

Personality Integration

The reaction to a forgotten birthday is no longer a one-size-fits-all drama. Instead, the emotional result is heavily influenced by a Sim’s specific characteristics, reward traits, and childhood upbringing. The mod integrates traits from the following sources:

  • EA Base Game & Expansion Packs (Personality traits, Rewards, and Life Skills)
  • EA Childhood Phases (Distant, Rebellious, etc.)
  • Vicky Sims (100 Base Game Traits)
  • Kuttoe’s New Emotional Traits
  • Scarlet’s Traits
  • Maplebell’s Traits

Compatibility

This mod overrides the default reactions to a forgotten birthday and may conflict with:

  • No Sad Moodlet on Birthday by ClaudiaSharon.
  • Any other mods that override birthday reaction tunings.
