Description
Smart Sim Cheats provides a flexible set of tools for inspecting, adding, replacing, removing, and cleaning Sim data. It works with both EA content and many compatible systems added by other mods.
The mod provides two separate access levels:
- Sim Menu: Precise actions applied directly to one selected target Sim.
- Terrain Menu: Group actions using a Sim Picker, allowing the same operation to be applied to one or several Sims.
Individual Sim Management
Shift-click a Sim and open Smart Cheats to manage that Sim directly.
The individual Sim menu includes tools for:
- Traits: Add, replace, or remove individual traits, including all visible and hidden traits.
- Preferences: Remove Likes, Dislikes, Turn-Ons, Turn-Offs, and hidden preference traits by group.
- Skills: Remove, improve, or maximize individual skills, including all hidden skills.
- Aspirations: Assign visible or hidden aspirations.
- University: Add or remove university degrees, with or without the corresponding skills.
- Relationships: Select another Sim and remove specific relationship bits, or clear larger groups of relationship data.
- Milestones: Remove individual milestones or clear complete milestone groups.
- Bucks & Perks: Remove individual perks or complete perk groups.
- Rankings: Modify systems such as Fame, Reputation, Vampire Rank, Werewolf Rank, and other ranked statistics.
- Points: Increase or decrease Fame Points, Occult Points, and other supported currencies.
- Appearance: Change outfits and choose a new umbrella.
- Inventory: Sell the entire inventory with a single click.
- Deep Cleaning: Remove complete groups of traits, preferences, buffs, milestones, relationship data, and other stored Sim data.
All tools work with any Sim, including active household members and NPCs, as well as cats, dogs, and horses.
Group Management
Shift-click the terrain and open Smart Cheats to access group actions.
The terrain menu opens a Sim Picker, allowing you to choose one or several Sims before applying an operation. This is useful for households, NPCs, or larger groups that need the same changes.
Available group actions include:
- Reset Sims
- Make Sims Happy
- Age Sims Up or Down
- Add Sims to the Active Family
- Remove Sims from the Active Family
- Sell Sim Inventories
- Deep Cleaning
The group version of Deep Cleaning provides bulk operations for removing traits, preferences, buffs, milestones, relationship data, bucks, perks, and other supported values from several Sims at once.
Custom Content Support
Smart Sim Cheats works primarily with game systems and tuning categories rather than fixed lists of individual objects. As a result, many traits, preferences, aspirations, skills, buffs, milestones, relationship bits, perks, and similar data added by other mods are detected automatically.
Support is implemented at the broadest practical system level so that newly added EA and custom content can often work without requiring a separate compatibility update.
